Title: Characterizing cytosolic motion of proteins using live imaging of photo-convertible fluorophores.

Description: It is commonly assumed that proteins diffuse randomly in the cytosol, even though crowding and protein-protein interactions significantly affect protein motion. To watch proteins move in living cells, we image the propagation of photo-convertible fluorophores throughout the cytosol and compare these movies to simulations of physical models.
