On February 7, we had a great time hearing from Rotem Gura as he spoke about his research. He described his work looking into protein movement within a cell's cytosol. For years people have assumed they move through simple diffusion, but is it more complicated than that? Rotem is using florecent labeling and live imaging to get at an answer...so we got to see some pretty cool microscope movies too!
